Saints Preview Franklin Park Course at Suffolk Invite
BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College Cross Country program competed on Saturday afternoon at the Suffolk Invite at the historic Franklin Park course with the women finishing in sixth place overall while the men's squad competed as individuals.

THE LEAD – The Emmanuel College Cross Country program competed on Saturday afternoon at the Suffolk Invite at the historic Franklin Park course with the women finishing in sixth place overall while the men's squad competed as individuals.
EMMANUEL HIGHLIGHTS
- In the women's 6k race, Saints junior Elizabeth Cameron (Raynham, Mass.) turned in a top-10 finish with a time of 26:00.6, good for sixth place.
- Senior Hannah Fitzpatrick (Revere, Mass.) finished in 10th overall, turning in a time of 26:30.3.
- Sophomore Emma Krantz (Manchester, N.H.) ran well with a 22nd place showing, clocking in at 27:41.6.
- On the men's side, first-year Patrick Hill (Barrington, N.H.) turned in a team-best, running the men's 8k in 29:25 for a 10th place result.
- Senior Joey Reed (Rehoboth, Mass.) and sophomore Jorge Zapata (Parkland, Fla.) finished in 26th and 27th place with times of 31:57.1 and 32:00.8, respectively.
FINAL RESULTS
- Bowdoin took home the men's team crown while Simmons captured the women's race.
- Senior Ashleigh Kelley of Regis was the women's individual champion with a time of 24:29.3.
- Junior Lecas DiCerbo took home the men's race at 28:15.2.
UP NEXT
- The Saints are now idle until Saturday, October 30 when they gear up for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship meet at the same Franklin Park course.
