Saints Post Several Season-Best Performances at Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup
HOPKINTON, N.H. - The Emmanuel College Cross Country program raced on Saturday morning in the 9th Annual Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup in Hopkinton, N.H. with the men finishing in seventh place overall while the women's squad competed as individuals.

THE LEAD – The Emmanuel College Cross Country program raced on Saturday morning in the 9th Annual Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup in Hopkinton, N.H. with the men finishing in seventh place overall while the women's squad competed as individuals.
EMMANUEL HIGHLIGHTS
- On the men's side, first-year Patrick Hill (Barrington, N.H.) turned in a season-best, running the men's 8k in 26:50.2 for 10th place.
- Sophomore Jorge Zapata (Parkland, Fla.) finished in 24th place this morning, running his 8k in 28:04.3 for another season-best in the 8k.
- Seniors Joey Reed (Rehoboth, Mass.) ran well with a 50th place showing, clocking in at 30:49.1.
- In the women's race, Saints junior Elizabeth Cameron (Raynham, Mass.) turned in a top-10 finish in the 5k race, finishing with a time of 19:32.4, good for ninth place.
- Senior Hannah Fitzpatrick (Revere, Mass.) finished in 22nd over, turning in a time of 20:42.0.
- Junior Kate Elliot (Carmel, Ind.) and first-year Sophia Wise (Braintree, Mass.) rounded out the competing Saints with a 45th and 46th place finish, respectively.
FINAL RESULTS
- The host Ravens claimed the men's team crown in dominating fashion with five of the first six finishers while Saint Anselm College took home the women's team event boasting five of the top eight racers.
UP NEXT
- The Saints are now idle until Saturday, October 16 when they return to action for the Suffolk Invite race at the Franklin Park course in Boston, Mass.
