Cross Country Competes in Saturday's Bowdoin Invitational
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Saints cross-country programs were back in action on Saturday, turning in some of their best performances of the season, including a new PR for Elizabeth Cameron.

THE LEAD – The Saints cross-country programs were back in action on Saturday, turning in some of their best performances of the season, including a new PR for Elizabeth Cameron.
EMMANUEL HIGHLIGHTS
- In the women's race, Saints junior Elizabeth Cameron (Raynham, Mass.) turned in a personal record for a 6k, finishing with a time of 25:35.6, good for sixth place.
- Senior Hannah Fitzpatrick (Revere, Mass.) finished in 14th place in the 6k race, turning in a time of 26:34.4.
- First-year Emma Krantz (Manchester, N.H.) had her best career finish; a 17th place run with a time of 26:40.2.
- For the men's program, first-year Patrick Hill (Barrington, N.H.) continued his strong season, running the men's 8k in 28:26.7 for 11th place.
- Sophomore Jorge Zapata (Parkland, Fla.) finished in 25th place this afternoon, running his 8k in 30:48.8.
- Seniors Luke Elson (Ashaway, R.I.) and Joey Reed (Rehoboth, Mass.) added 39th and 40th place finishes, respectively.
FINAL RESULTS
- The Bowdoin Bears claimed the team victories in both the men's and women's events. The top-five finishers in the women's race belonged to the Bears while the top-four runners in the men's race represented Bowdoin.

- The Saints return next weekend with a race at Rivier University in the Rivier Invitational in Nashua, N.H. on October 2.
