AS A JUNIOR...

• Competed in seven races for the EC cross country team, including a season best performance at the DIII NCAA Renional at Bowdoin College on November 10th with an 8k time of 27:22.90
• Carty was only 15 seconds short of his personal best of 27:05 from his freshman year
• Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Squad & All-Conference Second Team

AS A SOPHOMORE...

• Carty ran in seven races for the Saints in 2017.
• He was able to record a season best in the 8K at the NCAA DIII Regionals held at the University of Southern Maine on November 11th, posting a time of 27:21.
• Carty was able to average 27:53 over the season in the 8K.
• For the 2017 men's cross country team, Carty was named the Most Valuable Performer and earned the Academic Achievement award
• Carty was also named to the 2017 First Team All-GNAC and to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team

AS A FRESHMAN...

• Ran in all six races for the Saints in his rookie season
• Carty set an Emmanuel freshman 5k record at The Fens Classic on September 3, with a time of 16:43
• Ran a personal best 27:05 in the NCAA DIII Regional meet
• The runner averaged 27:34 on the year, which was good for third lowest on the team
• Carty earned Second Team All-Confrence honors capping an impressive rookie season

BEFORE EMMANUEL...

• Carty ran for the cross country and track & field teams at Fryeburg Academy (Sweden, Maine) for four years
• Also competed on the Nordic Skiing team
• Was the cross country captain for one season, a track & field captain for a season, and the nordic skiing captain for two seasons
• Named to the All-Conference Cross Country team and Nordic Skiing team in his junior and senior years
