2013 GNAC CHAMPIONS HIT HIGH MARKS IN THE CLASSROOM TOO
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Emmanuel College Saints are among the 215 women’s cross country programs and 146 men’s teams to earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors. In order to be recognized by the national organization as an All-Academic Team, all athletes on each team must combine for at least a 3.1 cumulative grade point average.

The Emmanuel Women's Cross Country Team has earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the past five years. This is the first time both, the Emmanuel men's and women's teams, have been honored in a single season. The Emmanuel men combined for a 3.16 cumulative GPA, while the Saints women earned a 3.53.
After earning a pair of GNAC Cross Country Championships this past Fall, the Saints have proven they are sharp both on the course AND in the classroom!
