Saints Track & Field Finish 2024 Campaign at New England Division III Regionals
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - A group of Saints traveled to Mount Holyoke College for the New England Regional Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship on May 3 and 4. In individual competition, junior Desiree Robinson (New Haven, Conn.) competed in the women's triple jump and women's long jump while sophomore Pierre Paul Labossiere (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) competed in the men's triple jump.

In individual competition, junior Desiree Robinson (New Haven, Conn.) competed in the women's triple jump and women's long jump while sophomore Pierre Paul Labossiere (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) competed in the men's triple jump.
Robinson finished her season with a pair of top-10s in her two events, finishing eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 11.13 meters (36' 6.25"). She would follow up that performance with a 10th place in the long jump with a distance of 5.17 meters (16' 11.50"). Robinson was the only representative from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) to compete in those events.
Labossiere posted a 19th-place mark in his triple jump with a jump of 12.56 meters (41' 2.50"). Among GNAC competitors, Labossiere finished second to Regis's Justin Thuotte.
The men's and women's programs sent relay teams to Regionals to compete in the 4x100, 4x400, and 4x800. On the women's side, the 4x400 relay team of junior Krysten Rafferty (Patchogue, N.Y.), junior Caroline Carey (Braintree, Mass.), sophomore Emily Greene (Swansea, Mass.), and sophomore Reilly Slusser (White River Junction, Vt.), produced a 13th place finish with a time of 4:14.74. For the men, their 4x400 team of Labossiere, first-year Isaiah Etienne (Watertown, Mass.), sophomore Luke Wiley (East Wareham, Mass.), and senior Cole Hickey (Tolland, Conn.) placed 21st in the relay after a time of 3:35.84.
The outdoor track & field season comes to a close with the completion of the New England Regionals. Emmanuel XC/TF will return in the fall with Cross Country opening the season in early-September.
