Track & Field Compete For Second Time in Six Days at Silfen Invitational
NEW LONDON, Conn. - Emmanuel women's outdoor track and field continued its 2024 season on Saturday at Connecticut College in the Silfen Invitational with just two weeks to go before the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship meet.

The top finish of the day came from junior Desiree Robinson (New Haven, Conn.), who placed third in the triple jump with a distance of 10.77 meters (35' 4"). Robinson turned in another top-five finish on the day, coming in the high jump, clearing the bar at 1.52 meters (4' 11.75"), a season-best through three meets.
First-year Ava Fisher (Abington, Mass.) posted her second-straight top-five finish in the javelin following a throw of 32.31 meters (106' 0"). Senior Alyssa French-Graham (Waterbury, Conn.) was ninth in the hammer throw, setting a new PR with a distance of 37.00 meters (121' 5").
The Saints top finisher among all track events on the day was first-year Kason Huynh (Mission Viejo, Calif.), who posted a 14th place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.77.
Emmanuel returns to action for the two-day George Davis Invitational on Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, hosted at UMass Lowell.
