Saints Track and Field Start April at Tufts Snowflake Classic
MEDFORD, Mass. - On a day full of all kinds of New England weather, from heavy rains and temperatures below 40 to sunny skies and winds gusting to 30 mph, the Emmanuel Saints Outdoor Track and Field teams competing in the Tufts Snowflake Classic on Saturday.

THE LEAD – On a day full of all kinds of New England weather, from heavy rains and temperatures below 40 to sunny skies and winds gusting to 30 mph, the Emmanuel Saints Outdoor Track and Field teams competing in the Tufts Snowflake Classic on Saturday.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The Saints top finisher of the day on Saturday was sophomore Desiree Robinson (New Haven, Conn.), who continued her strong showings in the high jump, claiming second place in the event with a PR of 1.57 meters.
- Senior Molly Winship (Boxford, Mass.) grabbed eighth place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing with a time of 14:44.37 in her first steeplechase of the outdoor season.
- First-year Tiffany Fischer (South River, N.J.) matched Winship with an eighth place finish, coming in the javelin after throwing a distance of 24.59 meters in the event.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- On the men's side, after finishing seventh in the prelims of the 100-meter hurdles and qualifying for the finals, first-year Adam Von-Maszewski (Westborough, Mass.) claimed fifth in the 100-MH finals, completing the event with a time of 18.19 seconds.
- Sophomore Matthew Steffan (Quincy, Mass.) claimed 20th position in the shotput with a throw of 8.89 meters.
- First-year Mikel Lacroix (Cumberland, R.I.) came away with a 21st place finish in the 400 meters, following a time of 54.60 seconds.

- The Saints return to the track and field in short order, participating in the Regis Spring Classic on Thursday, April 6, with events starting at 10:00 a.m.
