SAINTS WRAP UP REGULAR SEASON WITH MULTIPLE VICTORIES
BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field teams enjoyed victories in both track and field events in their final regular season meet of the year at the Regis Pride Classic. In addition to multiple first place finishes the Saints saw athlete’s set new school records, personal bests and place in nearly every event the men and women competed in.

In addition to multiple first place finishes the Saints saw athlete's set new school records, personal bests and place in nearly every event the men and women competed in.
TOP FINISHERS
Reilly Boyle (Wells, Maine) placed first in the 800m, setting a new school recorded with a 2:25.39. Jacquelyn Schneider (Weymouth, Mass.) won the 400m Hurdle improving the Emmanuel College record to 72.01 in the process. Ashley Brooks (Danvers, Mass.) placed first in the High Jump, improving her personal best and New England DIII qualifying jump to 5'1". The women's 4 X 800m team, comprised of Boyle, Katherine Holmberg (Easton, Mass.), Allie Gorrill (Whitefield, Mass.) and Nicole Varca (Wethersfield, Maine), won the race in 11:01.79 seconds. Cameron Anderson (Watertown, Mass.) took first in the Shot Put with a 41'10.75" throw while Katherine Zombik (Holyoke, Mass.) placed first in the Javelin with a 95'8" throw.
MEN'S RESULTS
In the distance run Ian Chamenko (Beacon Falls, Conn.) finished sixth at 4:17.21 while Patrick Carty (Sweeden, Maine) finished ninth crossing the line just a second later at 4:18.91. Phillip Malm (Worcester, Mass.) finished sixth in the 400m with a 56.40. In the 200m Cameron Atherton (Rowley, Mass.) improved his personal best to 23.75, finishing the race fifth. The men's 4 x 800m team, made up of Carty, Chamenko,, Malm and Jefferson Zannoni (Merrimack, N.H.) placed second, finishing the race in 9:00.92. In the Javelin Dillon Roche (Swampscott, Mass.) placed eight and Amiel Howell (Boston, Mass.) placed ninth improving his personal best to 111'1". Constantino Politis (Saugus, Mass.) set a new personal record with a 90'4" throw that was good for ninth place.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
In the 1500m run Holmberg and Mimi Duncan (Portsmouth, N.H.) finished fifth with a 5:27.57 and seventh with a 5:36.67 respectively. Zombik placed fourth in the 100m Hurdles running a 16.99 race while Carly Jones (Lake Placid, N.Y.) finished sixth with a 17.44 and Schnieder finished seventh running the race in 18.07 seconds. In the 100m sprint Micaela Fraccalossi (Plymouth, Mass.) finished second improving her personal best to 13.01. Both Gorrill and Carolyn Richardson (Kennebunk, Maine) improved their personal records with Gorrill finisgin seventh in 2:37.70 and Richardson finishing ninth in 2:50.49. In the Long Jump all five Saints placed with Fraccalossi finishing second, Schneider third, Zombik fifth, Jones sixth and Richardson seventh. Shannon Donahue (Manchester, N.H.), extended her personal best javelin throw to 81'4", finishing fourth.

The Emmanuel College Track and Field qualifiers will compete in post season action on Friday, May 5 at the DIII New England Championships at Williams College.
