BROOKS WINS IN THE FIELD AS SAINTS CONTINUE TO IMPROVE
BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field squads participated in the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT this Saturday. Multiple Saints recorded personal bests in both track and field events and the Blue and Gold saw Ashley Brooks (Danvers Mass.) finish first in the High Jump.

Multiple Saints recorded personal bests in both track and field events and the Blue and Gold saw Ashley Brooks (Danvers Mass.) finish first in the High Jump.
TOP FINISHER
Brooks placed first in the High Jump, tying her personal best jump of 5'0.25". The senior jumper finished higher than all opponents at the DI, DII and DIII level.
MEN'S RESULTS
In the 10K Noah Chagnon (St. Albans, Vt.) finished 3rd overall with a personal best 35:45.87. Ian Chamenko (Beacon Falls, Conn.) placed fifth in the Steeplechase coming in at 10.19.98 while Patrick Carty (Sweeden, Maine) crossed the finish line right behind him with a personal best 10:20.38. Erik Brobst (Freeport, Maine) lowered his personal best 5K time yet again crossing the line at 16:36.31.
Senior thrower Cameron Anderson (Watertown, Mass.) finished fifth in the Shot Put with a 43'4.25. There were two more personal bests in the Hammer for the Saints, Constantino Politis (Saugus, Mass.) extended his personal best to 80'3" and Christopher Rosario set his new best at 55'8".
WOMEN'S RESULTS
In the sprints Carolyn Richardson (Kennebunk, Maine) improved her personal best 100m to 14.95 seconds while Jackie Schneider improved her 400m Hurdle to 73.78. In the 800m both Jackie Schneider (Weymouth, Mass.) and Angela Brocco (Levittown, N.Y.) lowered their times to 2:42.49 and 2:56.29 respectively.
In the field, there were several more personal bests set for the Blue and Gold. Gianna Kittle (Rocky Hill, Conn.) extended her Shot Put to 24'11.25, she also improved her Discuss throw to 70'11". Shannon Donahue (Manchester, N.H.) improved her discuss throw to 74'4".

The Emmanuel College Track and Field team will wrap up their regular season on Sunday, April 30 when they travel to Regis College.
