Indoor Track and Field Starts February at Tufts Cupid Challenge

The top finisher for the Saints came with junior Cynthia Brito (Whitman, Mass.) setting a new PR in the triple jump, placing sixth in the event after a distance of 10.03 meters (32' 11"). Brito also added a PR in the 60 meters with a time of 8.80 seconds.
Senior Sasha Hyacinthe (Stoughton, Mass.) finished 12th in the high jump with a PR of 1.47 meters (4' 9.75"). Sophomore Emily Greene (Swansea, Mass.) was one position behind in 13th place, clearing the high jump bar at 1.32 meters (4' 7.75").
Saints sophomore Pierre Paul Labossiere (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) had the top finish on the men's team, placing seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 12.07 meters (39' 7.25"). The second-year jumper added a 13th in the high jump and 21st in the long jump.
Fellow sophomore Luke Wiley (East Wareham, Mass.) placed 19th in the long jump with a distance of 5.69 meters (18' 8").
The Saints return to action in two weeks with the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship Meet on Feb. 18, hosted at Boston University.
