Bio

Alyssa Aughenbaugh joined the Emmanuel Saints staff in the Fall of 2021, returning to her alma mater to Co-Head Coach the Dance Team. Entering her third season with the Saints, Aughenbaugh has introduced the Dance Team to inaugural programming including active year-round recruiting, alumni engagement, and networking, as well as formalized pre-season training featuring a Universal Dance Association home camp.

Aughenbaugh is a USA Cheer-certified Dance Coach. With over 20 years of classical dance training, Aughenbaugh has a robust understanding of dance styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, modern, musical theater, tap, and hip-hop. Prior to her coaching role at Emmanuel, she served as a Dance Teacher and Instructor for eight years, training dancers in strength and flexibility and choreographing in studio settings.

Aughenbaugh holds a Master's in Higher Education Administration from Georgetown University. She works full-time as a Program Manager for the Advising Programs Office at Harvard College.

Aughenbaugh graduated from Emmanuel in 2019 with a BA in Psychology. Aughenbaugh was also a member of the Emmanuel College Dance Team during her time as a Saint. She is passionate about continuing to grow the Dance Team's presence in the Emmanuel College community and advancing its standing at the regional and national levels.
