EMMANUEL WELL REPRESENTED ON GNAC ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
WINTHROP, Mass. - A total of 822 student-athletes have been named to the 2014-15 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by GNAC Commissioner Joe Walsh earlier this week. Emmanuel College was well represented on the list with 109 representatives, a conference-best, making up 13.25% of the GNAC’s Academic All-Conference selections.

BROOKS SET TO COMPETE IN ECAC INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
NEW YORK, N.Y. – Emmanuel College sophomore Ashley Brooks (Danvers, Mass.) will head to New York City this weekend to compete in the Division III Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships. The ECAC Indoor Championships will by hosted by Rutgers University and held at the New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory. Brooks will represent the Saints in the women’s high jump at 1:00 PM on Saturday afternoon.

QUALIFIERS SHINE AT NEW ENGLAND DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS
NORTHAMPTON, SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Seventeen Emmanuel College athletes, including nine women and eight men, qualified for and competed in the New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday afternoon. The women’s championship was hosted by Smith College, while the men’s championship was held at Springfield College.

INDOOR TRACK & FIELD WRAPS REGULAR SEASON AT MIT INVITATIONAL
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Teams competed in the MIT Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Saints picked up four wins on the day and 14 top-five finishes, to go along with three post-season qualifying times. The meet marked the Saints’ final regular season competition for indoor track & field.

RECORDS FALL AT SCARLET AND WHITE INVITE
BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Teams tore up the track at Boston University’s Scarlet & White Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Saints took down a pair of Emmanuel program records, turned in several championship qualifying performances and recorded numerous personal bests on the day.

TRACK & FIELD RACES AT SOUTHERN MAINE INVITE
GORHAM, Maine – The Saints Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Teams competed Saturday afternoon in the University of Southern Maine Invitational. The Emmanuel women’s team finished 7th out of 10 competing programs, while the EC men took 8th out of nine. The Saints turned in 14 podium performances on the day, including six top-three finishes and one Division III New England qualifier.

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD COMPETES IN TUFTS WINTER INVITE
MEDFORD, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Teams took part in the Tufts University Winter Invitational on Saturday afternoon, competing against fourteen other programs representing Division I, II and III colleges and universities. Four of the Saints’ relay squads placed among the top eight at the competitive meet, while thirteen EC personal records were set at Tufts’ Gantcher Center.

SAINTS KICK OFF SECOND SEMESTER WITH RCC TIGER RELAY
ROXBURY, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Teams kicked off the second semester of action by competing in the RCC Tiger’s All-Comers Relay, hosted at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center. The Saints recorded 24 collegiate personal bests on the day and two athletes qualified for the Division III New England Championships.

INDOOR TRACK & FIELD OPENS SEASON AT UMASS BOSTON INVITE
ROXBURY, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Teams opened the winter season this past Saturday at the UMass Boston Invitational, hosted at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center. The Saints turned in 36 collegiate personal bests in just the first meet of the season.
