BOSTON – Trailing by a goal heading into the fourth quarter, Saints Women’s Lacrosse (12-4, 10-0 GNAC) erupted for eight goals in the final 15 minutes to earn a crucial 20-14 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) victory over Colby-Sawyer (11-4, 7-3 GNAC) on Saturday afternoon at Clemente Field. The win secured the Saints’ spot as the GNAC North Division regular season champions with one game left to play prior to postseason competition.

BOSTON – In a battle between the two top teams in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), the Emmanuel College women’s lacrosse team (10-4, 8-0 GNAC) outlasted Johnson & Wales (8-4, 6-1 GNAC) to remain unbeaten in conference play with a 14-13 victory. It was Madeline Wright (Mattapoisett, Mass.) who found the back of the net as time expired to secure the massive win on Saturday afternoon at Clemente Field.

Women's Lacrosse Uses Impressive Defensive Effort to Roll Past Simmons, 9-5

BOSTON – In a contest between schools separated by just one street, the Emmanuel College women’s lacrosse team (3-3, 1-0 GNAC) was victorious over Colleges of the Fenway partner Simmons University (2-5, 0-1 GNAC), 9-5, Saturday afternoon at Clemente Field. With just five goals allowed, it was the Saints’ best defensive effort on the young season as Emmanuel earned a Great Northeast Athletic Conference victory in their first conference matchup of the campaign.
