SAINTS ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT WRAPS SEASON WITH ANNUAL AWARDS NIGHT
BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Athletic Department celebrated the close of the 2013-14 athletic seasons with the Saints Annual Athletic Awards Night and Dessert Reception on April 26th. Student-athletes, coaches, supportive families and fans filled the gymnasium of Emmanuel's Jean Yawkey Center for the annual athletic recognition night. The event featured award presentations by the head coaches of each of Emmanuel's varsity programs and spirit teams, as well as major award presentations by Saints staff and administrators. Emmanuel's food service division, Bon Appetit, provided a delectable buffet of dessert selections for all of the attendees.

FOUR SAINTS EARN ALL-ECAC INDOOR TRACK HONORS
BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College sent four athletes to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center. With the Saints competing on their home practice track, Emmanuel notched All-ECAC performances in the men’s 400m and the men’s 4x400m relay.

QUALIFIED SAINTS COMPETE AT DIVISION III NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
CAMBRIDGE/SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Seven women and six men represented Emmanuel College’s Indoor Track & Field Teams at the Division III New England Championships on Saturday. The women’s championship was hosted by Springfield College, while the men’s championship was held at MIT.

INDOOR TRACK & FIELD WRAPS REGULAR SEASON WITH CUPID CHALLENGE
BOSTON/MEDFORD, Mass. – The Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Teams wrapped up the regular season, spending Valentine’s Day weekend at the Tufts University Cupid Challenge, with selected student-athletes competing at Boston University’s Scarlet and White Invite. The Saints saw twelve new personal records set at Tufts. Three personal records were set at BU and four athletes reached their goals of qualifying for the Division III New England Championships on February 22.

JULIEN RANKS 8TH NATIONALLY; PROGRAM RECORDS FALL AT LOCAL INDOOR MEETS
CAMBRIDGE/BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Saints competed locally over the weekend with several athletes running in Boston University’s Dave Hemery Invitational and the majority of the Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field squad heading to MIT’s Gordon Kelly Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

TOUGHER COMPETITION CAN'T SLOW SAINTS AT HARVARD INVITE
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Saints took to the track at Harvard University over the weekend, competing against athletes from Division I and II programs at the Harvard Indoor Track & Field Invitational. Emmanuel performed well against the tougher competition with two New England Division III Championship qualifying performances, an ECAC Championship qualifier and 24 new personal records set.

SAINTS RUN DOWN RECORDS AT SMITH INVITATIONAL
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Teams performed well on Saturday afternoon at Smith College’s Benyon Invitational. The Saints were led by senior captain Meaghan Mauer’s (South Hadley, Mass.) new program record in the 1000m. Five other Division III New England qualifying marks were met and fifteen Saints recorded personal records on the day.

INDOOR TRACK COMPETES IN TUFTS INVITE
MEDFORD, Mass. – The Emmanuel Saints competed in the Tufts University Invite on Saturday afternoon. This was the third meet of the season for both the EC Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Teams. The Saints cruised to seventeen new personal records, while recording seven top-five finishes and four Division III New England qualifying performances.

SAINTS SHINE AT USM INVITE
GORHAM, Me. – The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Teams returned to action after the winter break, competing in the University of Southern Maine Invite this past Saturday. This was the second meet of the season for the Saints, but the first in 2014. Emmanuel kicked off the New Year right, with 21 top-five finishes and 12 personal best performances.

INDOOR TRACK OPENS SEASON AT UMASS BOSTON INVITATIONAL
BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Teams kicked off the 2013-14 season at the UMass Boston Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Beacons hosted the meet at Emmanuel’s home practice site, the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center. The Saints came away with several solid performances in just the first meet of the year, including 44 personal bests and three New England Division III Championship qualifying performances.
