Student-Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Jenna Ross is Emmanuel College's Student-Athlete of the Week. Ross is a 2nd-year starting outside-hitter on the Saints Women's Volleyball Team. So far this season, the Centerburg, Ohio native has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Volleyball Player of the Week once and to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll twice. Ross was selected to Eastern Connecticut's Crabtree Classic All-Tournament Team on October 10th. She is a solid player both offensively and defensively for the Saints. Ross currently has 130 kills this season, averaging 1.83 kills per set. Defensively, she is second on the Saints squad in digs with a total of 279, for an average of 3.93 digs per set. Ross and the Emmanuel team are 13-7 this season and undefeated at 7-0 in GNAC play. She will be looking to help lead the Saints to the program's 4th GNAC Championship this November.
