Women's Volleyball Drops GNAC Match at Lasell, 3-1
NEWTON, Mass. - The Lasell Women's Volleyball team continued to show that they are among the best in the GNAC, defeating Emmanuel 3-1 on Wednesday by a score of 25-23, 25-15, 26-28, 25-21. The Lasers are now 17-1 on the season and 8-0 in GNAC play, while the Saints are 12-5 and 7-2. The Lasers have now won 15 straight matches, already a program record.

The Lasers won the first two sets, 25-23 and 25-15, but the Saints fought back to win the third set, 28-26, preventing the straight sets win. In the fourth, Lasell took home a 25-21 set win, for a 3-1 sets victory in GNAC play.
Lasers junior McKenna McCool (Loomis, Calif.) had a match-high 13 kills while fellow junior Juliana Medini (Roxbury, N.J.) chipped in with 10 kills.
Saints sophomore Wiktoria Galazyn (Plainville, Conn.) finished with a team-best 11 kills. Sophomore Isabella Marquez (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) added eight kills and eight digs in the loss.
The Lasers return to play on Saturday, Oct. 14 with a non-conference match against Westfield State. The Saints roll on with GNAC play on Friday, Oct. 13, heading to Johnson & Wales for a 7:00 p.m. match.
