BOSTON, Mass.—The Emmanuel College women's volleyball team was recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) with the Team Academic award earlier this week.

DUDLEY EARNS NEWVA SENIOR CLASSIC HONORABLE MENTION

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College women's volleyball senior captain Shannon Dudley (Morro Bay, Calif.) earned recognition as a Senior Classic Honorable Mention from the New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA).

TUTALO, DUDLEY & ATKINSON NAMED TO GNAC ALL-CONFERENCE SQUAD

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior middle hitter Brittany Tutalo (Johnston, R.I.), junior middle hitter Kaitlyn Atkinson (Brookline, N.H.) and senior setter Shannon Dudley have been named to the 2015 Great Northeast Athletic Conference women’s volleyball All-Conference team, it was announced earlier today by the conference office. Tutalo earned Second Team honors while Atkinson & Dudley garner Third Team accolades.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SEASON ENDS IN GNAC SEMIFINALS

Nashua, N.H. - The Rivier University women's volleyball team will once again defend their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship as they powered through fourth-seeded Emmanuel College, 3-1 (25-12, 25-16,25-19) in the GNAC Semifinals inside the Muldoon Gymnasium Thursday evening.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL TO FACE RIVIER IN GNAC SEMIFINALS

BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College women’s volleyball team is set to travel to Nashua, N.H. for Thursday’s Great Northeast Athletic Conference Semifinal match up against No. 1 Rivier University set for 7:00 PM. The Saints advance to the GNAC Semis for the third consecutive season while the Raiders are making their 13th straight trip to the Semifinals.

SAINTS STORM INTO SEMIFINALS WITH SWEEP OF ANNA MARIA

BOSTON, Mass. - The No. 4 Emmanuel College women's volleyball team swept the No. 5 Anna Maria College AMCATS, 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-21), in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) volleyball tournament on Tuesday evening at the Emmanuel College Gymnasium.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO RIVIER, 3-0

Nashua, N.H. - The Rivier University Women’s Volleyball team wrapped up the 2015 regular-season this afternoon with a three set win over Emmanuel College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action. The Raiders defeated the Saints, who entered the season as the Pre-Season favorite in the GNAC Coaches Poll, by scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-22.

SAINTS PULL OUT 3-2 WIN OVER SALVE REGINA ON SENIOR DAY

BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College women’s volleyball team earned a 3-2 (19-25, 26-24, 30-28, 11-25, 15-6) victory over Salve Regina University on Thursday evening in non-conference action at the Jean Yawkey Center. The win lifts the Saints to 11-14 overall while the loss drops the Seahawks to 11-16. Prior to the start of the match, the Emmanuel Athletic Department honored the four senior members from this year’s squad.

SAINTS FLY TO STRAIGHT SET WIN IN DIG PINK GAME

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College junior Cassie Chruscielski (Duluth, Minn.) had nine kills to lead the Saints to a 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-9) victory over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Volleyball action on Tuesday night.

SAINTS CLINCH POSTSEASON BERTH WITH TRI-MATCH SWEEP

BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College Women's Volleyball team clinched its ninth straight postseason berth on Saturday afternoon after sweeping both Suffolk and Albertus Magnus in a tri-match at Suffolk. The Saints improved to 9-14 overall and 7-2 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play with the pair of wins. At 7-2, Emmanuel currently sits in fourth place in the GNAC, but the final seeding will not be determined until the final weekend of the regular season.

CZERCOWY LEADS WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL OVER SIMMONS, 3-1

BOSTON, Mass. – First year outside hitter Angelica Czercowy (Hebron, Conn.) put down 10 kills and registered six block assists to lead the Emmanuel College women’s volleyball team to a 3-1 (15-25, 25-22, 28-26, 25-17) victory over host Simmons College this evening in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference match at Moore Gymnasium in Boston, Mass. The Saints improve to 7-14 overall and 5-2 in league play, while the Sharks fall to 9-12 and 6-3.

SAINTS STRUGGLE, LOSE TWICE AT JWU TRI-MATCH

BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College Women's Volleyball team suffered its first two conference losses of the year at a tri-match at Johnson and Wales on Saturday afternoon. The Saints dropped their first match of the day, 3-1 (15-25, 22-25, 26-24, 19-25), to conference leaders Johnson and Wales and then lost to Saint Joseph's College (ME), 3-0 (20-25, 20-25, 20-25) to end the afternoon in Providence.

WHEATON DROPS WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL, 3-0

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior middle hitter Kendall Jacobs (San Diego, Calif.) recorded a match-high 10 kills to lead the Wheaton College women’s volleyball team past Emmanuel College, 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-17), Thursday evening in non-conference action at the Jean Yawkey Center. With the win, the Lyons improve to 10-11 overall on the year while the loss drops the Saints to 6-12.

SAINTS SHARE THE WEALTH IN TRI-MATCH SWEEP

BOSTON, Mass.- The Emmanuel College Women's Volleyball team swept a Great Northeast Athletic Conference tri-match at the Emmanuel College Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. The Saints defeated Anna Maria College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-20), and Lasell College, 3-1 (25-13, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22), to improve to 4-0 in GNAC play. The Amcats upended the Lasers 3-1 in the middle match of the day (25-20, 25-18, 15-25, 25-12).

#25 ENGINEERS ROLL PAST SAINTS, 3-1

BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Women’s Volleyball team was defeated by nationally-ranked #25 MIT, 3-1 (25-12, 25-14, 17-25, 25-18), on Thursday night at the Jean Yawkey Center Gymnasium in non-conference action. With the victory, the Engineers improve to 19-1 on the year while the loss drops the Saints to 4-11.

RACKLIFFE, FRAMINGHAM DOWN WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL, 3-0

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – Junior Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) led the Rams with 13 kills including the 1,000th of her career as the Framingham State University volleyball team defeated Emmanuel College 3-0 in non-conference action at the Athletic Center this evening.
