OWLS SNAP SAINTS’ STREAK, 3-0
KEENE, N.H. – Keene State College swept a 3-0 non-conference women’s volleyball match against Emmanuel College at Keene’s Spaulding Gymnasium on Tuesday night. The game scores were 25-17, 25-11, and 25-15. The setback for the Saints snapped a three-match win streak, as the Saints drop to 10-9 on the season. Keene State has won seven of its last eight matches, improving to 11-6 overall with the victory.

Keene State has won seven of its last eight matches, improving to 11-6 overall with the victory.
Sophomore Madeline Nossiff (Portsmouth, N.H.) led a balanced Owl offense with eight kills. Junior Samantha Branning (Glastonbury, Conn.) finished with six kills and a .625 hitting percentage. Defensively, sophomore Kaitlin Boyer (West Greenwich, R.I.) and Alexis Michal (Windham, N.H.) each had 12 digs. Michal also had 24 assists.
Freshman Kaitlyn Atkinson (Brookline, N.H.) topped the Saints with 10 kills and a stellar .474 hitting percentage. Classmate Cassie Chruscielski (Duluth, Minn.) had six kills and 10 digs, while sophomore setter Shannon Dudley finished with 22 assists.
Emmanuel will host Wheaton College on Thursday night in non-conference action played in the Jean Yawkey Center at 7:00 PM. Keene State is at Trinity College on Saturday for a tri-match with Middlebury College.
