Bio

Howie Harrison serves as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Assistant Softball Coach. Before arriving at Emmanuel College, Harrison served as an Assistant Athletic Director at the Bement School in Deerfield, Massachusetts. Over four years at Bement, Harrison held many coaching positions including, Head Boys Basketball Coach, Co-Head Softball Coach and Assistant Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach. Harrison graduated in 2001 from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a bachelor's degree in business sports management. Harrison also attended Williston Northhampton School, where he played varsity football, basketball, track and lacrosse. Harrison is currently the Physical Education Coordinator and Athletic Director at Smith Leadership Academy Charter Public School. He founded the Smith Leadership Academy sports program, which includes the girls' and boys' basketball teams, flag football team, track team and double-dutch team. In the 2005-2006, the boys' basketball team went undefeated in their first year and won the charter school basketball league championship. 617-735-9849 harrisho@emmanuel.edu
