Horan Scores Third GNAC Rookie of the Week Honors
WINTHROP, Mass. – Emmanuel first-year forward Ciara Horan (Braintree, Mass.) finished a two-game stretch this past week with three goals and two assists to claim the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week honors, as announced in the GNACs Weekly Report. The nod as Rookie of the Week is Horan’s third of this season.

The nod as Rookie of the Week is Horan's third of this season.
Horan started the week with two goals and two assists in a 7-0 win over Rivier on Oct. 23. Just five days later, Rivier made their way back to Clemente Field for the GNAC Quarterfinals, where Horan scored the match's opening tally in a 6-0 victory.
The rookie forward is second on the team with nine goals and tied third among GNAC players in assists (8) and points (26). In addition, Horan has claimed all three Rookie of the Week nods in October and currently has at least one point in six of her last seven matches, dating back to Oct. 10.
The No. 2 seeded Emmanuel Saints make their first GNAC Semifinals appearance since 2019 when they welcome the No. 3 seed Lasell Lasers to Clemente Field on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 7:00 p.m. for a spot in the GNAC Championship Match on Saturday, Nov. 4.
