WINTHROP, Mass. – Saints sophomore Sarah Dullaghan (Belmont, Mass.) stacked up another strong week of play for women's soccer and has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week, for a second consecutive week.
Dullaghan finished a two-game stretch with five goals and one assist for a total of 11 points. In addition, Dullaghan became just the fourth player in team history to score at least four goals in a single match, coming against Mitchell on Oct. 21.
The second-year forward joined Vicky Shalian ('01), Mikayla Guthrie ('19), and Addie LeGault ('24) as the only others in program history with a four-goal match. Shalian has six such instances of scoring at least four goals while Guthrie and LeGault each have one occasion with at least four goals in a single game.
Dullaghan is second in the conference with 16 goals and tied for third in the conference with six assists. Her 38-point total is good for second in the GNAC, trailing the leader by three points with one regular season game remaining.
The Saints have locked up the No. 2 seed for the GNAC Postseason and finish off the regular-season tonight, Oct. 23, hosting Rivier at 7:00 p.m. The team will open up their playoff run on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1:00 p.m., hosting a team to be determined later.
