Emmanuel (6-7-0, 4-1-0 GNAC) got goals from six different players as the Saints raced out to a 6-0 lead before Norwich began to rally back with two goals late in the second half.
Freshman Mikayla Guthrie (North Andover, Mass.), sophomore Emily Gilman (Windham, Maine), freshman Kayla Generis (Wethersfield, Conn.), and senior Molly Carey (Swampscott, Mass.) each scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Saints' offense on the day. Junior Alison MacDonald (Peabody, Mass.)and junior captain Maggie Carey (Swampscott, Mass.) each tacked on a goal as well to round out Emmanuel's offensive leaders.
Norwich (2-7-1, 0-4-1 GNAC) got a goal each from Clara Leister (Hartland, Vt.) and Tiana Cass (Torrington, Conn.), but it wasn't enough to rally back late.
Molly Carey opened the scoring for Emmanuel in the 12th minute finishing off a crossing pass from Generis. Less than a minute later, Generis scored off an assist from Guthrie to make it 2-0 Saints. Just 53 seconds later Maggie Carey scored off an assist from Molly Carey to push the lead to 3-0. Guthrie capped off the four-goal spurt in a span of 4:49 off an assist from Gilman.
Gilman scored in the 53rd minute off an assist from junior Savannah Lundwall (Fiskdale, Mass.) and MacDonald capped the scoring in the 56th minute with an unassisted strike.

Cass notched her third goal of the season with a hard low shot into the left corner of the net after dribbling past a few Emmanuel defenders to cut the deficit to 6-2.
However, that's as close as Norwich would get as Emmanuel won its third straight meeting against the Cadets. Sophomore Victoria Laroche (Hudson, N.H.) made two saves for Emmanuel to pick up her sixth victory of the year. Leandra Flores-Nieves (Colorado Springs, Colo.) was saddled with the loss for Norwich after making 13 saves. Freshman Brooke Dewyea (Piercefield, N.Y.) came on to make three saves for the Cadets.
Norwich will look to get back on track when it hosts Simmons College on Wednesday, Oct. 7 on Sabine Field at Haynes Family Stadium in another GNAC matchup while Emmanuel heads to Nashua, N.H. to take on Rivier University the same evening.
