Marschitz Picks Up Another GNAC Rookie of the Week Honor
BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College first year Ella Marschitz (Naperville, Ill.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women’s lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, it was announced today by the conference office. Also appearing in the report again was senior Megan Steele (Auburn, Maine), earning a nod on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll.

Also appearing in the report again was senior Megan Steele (Auburn, Maine), earning a nod on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll.
The first-year had six goals and three assists for nine points in a 2-0 week for Emmanuel. She tallied three goals and one helper against Albertus Magnus before registering three goals and two assists against USJ. On the week she also registered seven draw control wins, one groundball, one caused turnover and went 1-for-1 on free position shot attempts.
Through nine games, the Naperville, Ill. native leads the team in goals (24) and ranks fourth in points (32). She currently is ranked 15th in the GNAC in goals, tied for 19th in points while her 35 draw controls ranks 15th overall in the league.
The Saints are current 8-1 on the year and return to action today when they hit the road to face Worcester State University in non-conference action at 6:00 PM.
