THIRD-CONSECUTIVE GOALIE OF THE WEEK HONOR FOR WHITE
BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College sophomore Lauren White has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalie of the Week for the third-consecutive week. White’s most recent weekly recognition came after leading Emmanuel to another undefeated week in conference play with back-to-back overtimes victories against Saint Joseph’s College (Me.) and Lasell College.
BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College sophomore Lauren White has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalie of the Week for the third-consecutive week. White's most recent weekly recognition came after leading Emmanuel to another undefeated week in conference play with back-to-back overtimes victories against Saint Joseph's College (Me.) and Lasell College.
White made 15 saves in a 66-minute extended game with Saint Joseph's on April 8th, notching 3 groundballs in the 15-14 overtime win. She then stopped 6 shots in a 66-minute overtime victory over defending champion Lasell College, defeating the Lasers, 13-12 on April 12th. White tallied 21 saves on the week.
The Lynnfield, Massachusetts native currently leads the conference with her 7.97 goals-against-average and ranks second in the GNAC in save percentage at 47.9%. She has played every minute in net for the 10-2 Saints this season and has helped Emmanuel clinch first place in the conference standings with their 9-0 GNAC record.
White and the Saints have one final regular season home game. Emmanuel will host Norwich University on Tuesday night (4/15) in a 7:00 PM start at Clemente Field.
