Chan Earns Second GNAC Player of the Week Honor

Chan averaged 20.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists in a 2-0 week for the Saints, which included a crucial 73-69 victory over GNAC rival Saint Joseph's of Maine. In the win, she poured in 26 points to go with five boards, seven helpers and three assists. She also double-doubled with 14 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in a 72-55 win over USJ, and shot 50.0% (15- 30 FG, 7-11 3PT, 3-4 FT) from the floor for the week.
Chan leads Emmanuel in scoring, averaging 15.0 points per game. She's shooting at over a 40% clip from behind the arc (41.4%) and also averaging a team-high 5.5 assists, which ranks first in the GNAC and 14th overall among NCAA D-III women's ballers.
Emmanuel heads into the final week of the regular-season boasting an 18-5 overall record and 13-2 mark in GNAC play to share a spot at the top of the GNAC North Division. EC is on the road this week heading to Anna Maria College on Tuesday, Feb. 14 for a 5:00 PM affair before closing out the conference slate on Saturday at Rivier with a 1:00 PM tip.
