HOW IT HAPPENED
On a rainy and windy day at Celentano Field, scoring opportunities were hard to come by as there were just seven shots on goals between the two teams.
The lone goal in the match came in the 17th minute as Emmanuel's Seiki Thasith (Bangkok, Thailand) took a perfect strike from the top of the box into the top left corner of the net out of the outstretched arms of Albertus goalkeeper, David Lucero (East Haven, Conn.).
The Falcons had their best opportunity of the game in the final minute of the game, but a shot from Ben Pierce (Meriden, Conn.) went right into the arms of Emmanuel goalkeeper Maddox Pierce to preserve the win for the Saints.
