Bio

Peter Burke joined the Emmanuel College athletic staff in the summer of 2014 as an Assistant Coach for the Saints Men’s Lacrosse Team.  Burke earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Bucknell University, graduating in May of 2014.

Burke was a four-year member of the Bucknell University Men’s Lacrosse Team, captaining the squad in his senior year.  He helped his team to the Patriot League post-season tournament all four years and to a Patriot League Championship in 2011, the year in which he was also named Patriot League Rookie of the Week.

Burke was not only a standout on the field at Bucknell, he was also a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, served on Bucknell’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and received Bucknell’s Lacrosse Service Award.

Prior to his four-year career with the Bison, Burke was a three-sport athlete at Saint Sebastian’s School in Needham, Mass., where he played football, hockey and lacrosse.

Coach Burke currently resides in Walpole, Mass.
