O’REGAN NAMED TO NEILA EAST SENIOR ALL-STAR TEAM

BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College senior attack Brian O'Regan (Milton, Mass.) has been named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East D-III Senior All-Star team, it was announced by the regional chair Tim Murphy earlier today. This marks the first time in program-history that a Saint has earned recognition on an NEILA All-Star team.

O'Regan capped his Emmanuel career in style, captaining the Saints to their first-ever Great Northeast Athletic Conference championship and berth to the NCAA tournament as EC posted a 15-4 overall record including a 10-0 mark in GNAC play during the regular-season as well as a 15-game winning streak.

The senior was a four-year captain and the only player from the 2011 club season to play all four seasons with the Saints.

"I'm really happy for Brian," said Emmanuel College Head Coach Brendan McWilliams. "He really deserves this honor and I'm excited that he'll get to play one more game of collegiate lacrosse."

The Milton, Mass. native graduates among the all-time leaders in several categories including tied for first in games played (52), first in assists (32), sixth in points (54), ninth in goals (22) and 10th in groundballs (62).
