HOMETOWN PRESS FOR BAKER, LITZELMAN, MERRIGAN
Three freshmen Emmanuel College lacrosse players received local hometown press this week, after helping the Saints win back-to-back Women’s and Men’s Lacrosse conference championships on Saturday and Sunday. Seacoastonline.com published a pair of feature stories, touting the accomplishments of a trio of EC rookies, including men’s attack Donnie Litzelman (Exeter, N.H.), women’s attack Emily Baker (Stratham, N.H.) and women’s midfielder Abaigeal Merrigan (Rye, N.H.).

Both the Emmanuel Men's and Women's Lacrosse Teams went undefeated during regular season Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action with each team earning the No. 1 seed for the GNAC Tournament. The Saints hosted all three play-offs rounds and EC pulled off a pair of conference championships over the weekend. With overall records of 15-2 and 15-3, respectively, the Emmanuel women and men will be making their inaugural appearances in the NCAA Division III Lacrosse Tournament on May 7th.
