MEN'S LACROSSE RALLIES FOR 8-7 GNAC WIN OVER RIVIER
Nashua, NH – Trailing 7-5 with under five minutes to play, the Emmanuel College men's lacrosse team surged back to defeat Rivier University, 8-7, Saturday afternoon at Raider Field in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action.

Nashua, NH – Trailing 7-5 with under five minutes to play, the Emmanuel College men's lacrosse team surged back to defeat Rivier University, 8-7, Saturday afternoon at Raider Field in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action. The Raiders held a 4-3 lead at halftime and lead by two goals with under five minutes to play in the fourth quarter, but Emmanuel used a three goal surge to steal the win.
The visiting Saints were led by Kaile MacLean-Daley (Sophomore – Moretown, VT) 2 goals, 2 ground balls, Jake Jaskolski (Junior – St. Clair Shores, MI) 2 goals, Evan Dolber (Junior – Malden, MA) 2 goals, 1 assist, 1 ground ball, Ryan Sabuda (Junior, Indianapolis, IN) 1 goal, 4 ground balls, and Chris Curtis (Sophomore, Ashland, MA) 1 goal, 1 assist, 3 ground balls. Also contributing for Emmanuel were Michael Rogers (Sophomore, New Haven, CT) 1 assist, 6 ground balls, Jake Pickett (Junior – Stratham, NH) 8 ground balls, and Brendan Gallagher (Freshmen, Solon, OH) 3 ground balls. Austin Lauzier (Junior, Bedford, NH) made 5 saves in goal.
The Raiders were led by Sean Given (Freshman - Londonderry, N.H.) 3 goals, 2 assists, 2 ground balls, Tom Johnson (Freshman - Londonderry, N.H.) 2 goals, 4 ground balls, Kevin Dembkoski (Sophomore - Salem, N.H.) 1 goal, 1 assist, 1 ground ball, and Danny Hooper (Senior - Wakefield, R.I.) 1 goal, 1 ground ball. Also making strong contributions for the Raiders were Kyle Graham (Sophomore -Londonderry, N.H.) 1 assist, 4 ground balls, Cody Lynch(Sophomore - Salem, N.H.) 1 assist, 10 ground balls, and Andrew Lucy (Junior – Windham, NH) 1 assist, 5 ground balls. Clark Plummer (Sophomore - Londonderry, N.H.) turned in another strong performance with 18 saves.
With the loss, the Raiders fall to 3–4 on the season. The Saints improve to 4-3 overall and 2-0 in the GNAC.
The Raiders return to action on Wednesday afternoon, March 26, when they face GNAC opponent Johnson and Wales University at 7:00 pm in a home contest. The Saints, climbing to 4 – 3 overall, will play another GNAC contest against Daniel Webster College in a home contest on Thursday, March 27, at 7:00 pm.
