BURMAN SNAGS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK HONORS AGAIN
For the second-straight week, Emmanuel College sophomore Brett Burman was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men’s Golf Rookie of the Week. Burman led the Saints to a two-day low total of 636 at the University of Southern Maine Fall Classic over the Columbus Day weekend. Burman carded an 82 on the opening day and a three-over-par 74 on day two to lead the Saints with a two-day low of 156.

Burman's 156 tied him for 28th place individually on the weekend and led the Saints to an 8th place finish as a team. With his 74 on Monday afternoon, the Bridgewater, Connecticut native set a new program-record with the Saints' the all-time individual low score.
Burman and the Saints topped both GNAC foes, Johnson & Wales University and Saint Joseph's College (Me.), at the USM Fall Classic. Emmanuel will play next this Saturday, October 13th, in the Westfield State University Invitational at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Mass.
