Pope Named to 2021-22 GNAC All-Conference Second Team
BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore guard Donte Pope (Middletown, Conn.) has been selected to the 2021-22 GNAC Men's Basketball All-Conference team, it was announced Monday morning by the conference office. Pope makes his first appearance on the All-Conference ledger earning Second Team honors as well as a nod on the All-Rookie squad. EC junior Ted Weber (Orange, Conn.) was also named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship team.

BOSTON, Mass. - Sophomores Ryan Grijalva (Stratham, N.H.), Donte Pope (Middletown, Conn.) and Bryant Ciccio (Attleboro, Mass.) combined for 48 points while shooting a combined 61% from the field to power No. 5 Emmanuel College past No. 12 Dean College, 99-69, in the Opening Round of the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball tournament on Tuesday evening in Boston, Mass.

Men's Hoops Set to Host Dean in First Round of GNAC Tourney
BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College men's basketball team is set to host Dean College in the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Opening Round on Tuesday, February 22 at 7:00 PM on the Andy Yosinoff Court. The Saints bring a 14-10 overall record to the contest after posting a 10-7 mark in the GNAC to earn the No. 5 seed. The Bulldogs stand at 8-16 overall and posted a 3-12 mark in the GNAC to secure the No. 12 seed.
