Dion Gardner-Crichlow Named Emmanuel Cross Country, Track and Field Head Coach
BOSTON – Emmanuel Saints Athletic Director Olivia Berry announced Wednesday morning that Dion Gardner-Crichlow has been named the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field Head Coach, effective as of August 14.

Gardner-Crichlow enters the new role with 25 years of experience across the areas of track and field and cross country, most recently serving as the Head Track and Field Coach at Milton High School since 2015.
"Coach Gardner-Crichlow's experience speaks for itself with 25 years between the high school and college levels," said Berry. "Her coaching perspective between these areas makes me confident that she will continue to build a strong team for seasons to come."
Gardner-Crichlow began her career at Northeastern University, serving as the Associate Head/Assistant Track and Field Coach from 1998-2009 while also serving as an Academic Enrichment Summer Director for White Stadium Sports, starting in 2001.
Following the stint at Northeastern, Gardner-Crichlow joined Milton Academy as the Sprints and Jumps Coach from 2013-2015, until ultimately securing the Head Coaching position at Milton High in 2015.
"Cross country and track and field is more than a sport for me, it's my life and the athletes are my family," said Gardner-Crichlow. "I'm grateful to Emmanuel for giving me a new home to create something really special."
The accomplishments of the Dorchester resident stretch far over the last 25 years. Among the highlights are election into the Troy High School and Northeastern University Athletic Hall of Fames, the 2017 US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Coach of the Year Award, and the 2023 Boston Globe All-Scholastic Coach of the Year, along with the Milton High School Coach of the Year.
Gardner-Crichlow has coached numerous All-Americans over her career while also claiming four Massachusetts All-State Championships and three Massachusetts Divisional State Team Championships with Milton High.
