Cross Country Competes at Keene State College Invitational
KEENE, N.H. - The Emmanuel College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed on Saturday morning at the Keene State College Invitational hosted by the Owls in Keene, N.H. The women’s squad posted a 10th place team finish while the men ended the race in 15th place.

THE LEAD – The Emmanuel College men's and women's cross country teams competed on Saturday morning at the Keene State College Invitational hosted by the Owls in Keene, N.H. The women's squad posted a 10th place team finish while the men ended the race in 15th place.
EMMANUEL HIGHLIGHTS
- Fresh off her GNAC Runner of the Week honors, senior Elizabeth Cameron (Raynham, Mass.) was the top Saint in the women's race with a 21st place finish in the 5k race with a time of 19:55.
- Junior Emma Krantz (Manchester, N.H.) clocked in at 21:10 for a 44th place finish while placed senior Mia Rowell (Candia, N.H.) turned in a strong showing at 22:03, good for 60th place.
- On the men's side, first-year Mikel Lacroix (Cumberland, R.I.) improved his 8k time from last weekend by almost three minutes, crossing the finish in 31:08 for 72nd place.
- Junior captain Kyle Antoine (Brockton, Mass.) put together a strong race recording a time of 34:42.
- First-year Adam Von-Maszewski (Westborough, Mass.) dropped his time by over two minutes from last weekend with a 91st place finish at 35:09.
WINNING PERFORMANCES
- Brandeis cruised to the women's team win with 40 points, topping the host Owls by 76 points as Keene State finished as the runner-ups with 116 points.
- Gordon junior Rachel Brennan (Lynn, Mass.) captured the 5k race with a time of 18:16 for the individual win.
- Eastern Connecticut State took home the men's event with 56 points, besting UMass Dartmouth by 11 points in a tight finish for the podium.
- Brandeis senior Matthew Driben (Reading, Pa.) took home the individual crown for the men with a 5:00 mile pace, clocking in at 24:53.

- The Saints are idle until Saturday, October 16 when they take on the Suffolk University Invite in their back yard at the historic course at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.
