AS A SENIOR...

  • Varca competed in seven races for the Saints in 2017
  • She was able to record a season best at the Saints Invitational on October 13th where she posted a time of 21.25 in the 5K
  • Varca went on the run in the NCAA DIII regionals where she recorded a time of 25:37 in the 6K
  • Over the season, Varca averages a time of 22:04 in the 5K, fourth best on the squad

AS A JUNIOR...

  • Ran the lowest time on the Saints roster in four out of five of her races in 2016
  • Varca ran a personal best 20:21 5k on October 29 at the GNAC Championship, the time was good for ninth place overall
  • The runner qualified and ran in the DIII NCAA Regionals on November 12 where she ran a personal best 24:18 5k
  • Varca maintained a team best 20:24 5k average on the season
  • Varca earned Women's Second Team All-Conference honors 

AS A FRESHMAN...

  • Competed in seven meets in her first collegiate season of Cross Country
  • She was the fifth Emmanuel finisher at the Fens Classic, finishing in 13:18
  • Finished second for the Saints and 17th overall at the Roger Williams Invitational on Sept. 6, crossing the line in 22:05
  • Ran the 5K at the Saints Invitational in a personal best 21:56 to finish 31st overall.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...

  • Varca was a three-sport athlete at Wethersfield High School (Wethersfield, Conn.)
