CONWAY, LARIVIERE NAMED ALL-ECAC

Emmanuel's Christopher Conway and Cathryn Lariviere received All-ECAC honors in their respective events at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships on May 14th and 15th.
Lariviere represented the Saints in the 10K. She ran her race in 39:30.12, finishing 8th overall. Her 8th place finish earned her All-ECAC honors, which is unprecedented for an Emmanuel track & field athlete in this event. She is also the first Emmanuel female to earn All-ECAC honors. Lariviere's time on May 14th set a new Emmanuel program record in the 10K.
Four heats of athletes competed in the trials of the 110-meter hurdles. Conway, a rookie, finished the race in 15.61, placing 7th out of the 32 athletes competing. His top-eight finish advanced him to the finals of this event on May 15th. Conway went on to finish 5th in the finals and earned All-ECAC honors. His time of 15.18 set another Emmanuel program record. Conway is the first Emmanuel male student-athlete to receive this honor in an outdoor event.
