Bio

AS A SOPHOMORE ... Thomas ran his first season of intercollegiate Cross Country for the Saints ... competed in three meets during the 2012 season ... clocked his personal best 5k (20:49) on September 1st in the Fens Classic ... posted standout seasons on the track for Emmanuel's Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Teams ... was a part of two indoor track record-breaking relay teams, including the 4x200m relay and the Distance Medley Relay ... in Outdoor Track, he set the program-record in the 4x100m relay (44.16) ... received All-New England honors in the 4x400m relay with the team's 4th place finish at the Division III New England Championships ... saw his best success in his 400 meter hurdles event, where he was All-New England with his 3rd place finish and personal record 53.41 at the Division III New England Championships at Colby College and All-ECAC with his 8th place finish (54.74) at the ECAC Championships at Springfield College  ... just missed going to the NCAA Championships in this event ... was ranked 23rd nationally in the 400mH following the ECAC Championships ... was named the Outdoor Team's "Unsung Hero" at Emmanuel's 2013 Athletic Awards Night on April 27th.

AS A FRESHMAN ... Thomas did not run Cross Country, but competed in Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field at Emmanuel ... raced in the hurdle events for both teams

BEFORE EMMANUEL ... Thomas was a two-sport athlete at South Kingstown High School (South Kingstown, R.I.) ... played varsity football for three years and ran track for four years ... named Rhode Island All-State in track ... won a Rhode Island Fooball State Championship in 2008.
