AS A SOPHOMORE ... Julien competed in his first season of intercollegiate Cross Country ... ran in just two races for the Saints, before suffering an injury ... clocked his personal best 5k time of 19:17 on September 8th in the Roger Williams University Hawks Invitational ... boasted standout indoor and outdoor seasons on the track for the Saints ... was a part of five different Emmanuel record-breaking performances during the winter season ... set the 60m record (7.34) at Tufts on January 12th ... set the 400m record at the ECAC Championships on March 3rd ... was a member for three different record-setting relay teams, including the 4x200m (1:33.71), the 4x400m (3:19.93) and the Distance Medley Relay (10:29.34) ... tacked on two more program records during the outdoor campaign, including the 4x100m (44.16) and the 4x400m (3:19.62) ... named All-ECAC and All-New England twice for Indoor Track (400m and 4x400m) ...earned All-ECAC honors in the 4x400m for Outdoor Track with the team's 7th place finish at Springfield College ... earned All-New England honors in both the 400m (8th place finish) and in the 4x400m (4th place finish) at Colby College ... received the Indoor Track Team's "Unsung Hero" award at Emmanuel's 2013 Athletic Awards Night on April 27th.

AS A FRESHMAN ... Julien was a member of the Emmanuel Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field squads, but did not compete on the Cross Country Team ... posted huge indoor and outdoor seasons on the track for the Saints ... named All-New England three times with his 4th place outdoor finish in the 400m, his 8th place finish in the 200m and his team's 2nd place finish in the 4x400m relay at the New England Division III Championships ... was also named All-ECAC in the 400m with his 2nd place finish at the ECAC Championships.

BEFORE EMMANUEL ... Julien competed on the Lusher Charter School track & field squad all four years of high school while also joining the cross country and swimming teams as a senior ... Captured the Lousiana District 2A indoor track & field championship in both the 400m and 800m races in 2011 ... Named the MVP at the Louisiana State Outdoor Championship ... served as the Vice President of his senior class ... worked for Habitat for Humanity
