Top-Ten Finishes Lead to Great Showing for Indoor Track & Field
The indoor track and field teams traveled to Plymouth State University for the Panther Invitational, where the women’s squad finished sixth overall and the men’s team finished in eighth place overall.

THE LEAD: The indoor track and field teams traveled to Plymouth State University for the Panther Invitational, where the women's squad finished sixth overall and the men's team finished in eighth place overall.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The women were led by junior Amanda Jordan (Stoneham, Mass.) and Hannah Fitzpatrick (Revere, Mass.). Jordan finished in second place in the long jump, with a best jump of 4.92 meters and finished in sixth place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:06.85. Fitzpatrick came along with another top-ten finish with a third-place spot in the mile run, adding six points to the team score with a final time of 5:25.67.
- Continuing in her first season of track and field, sophomore Kennedy Davignon's (Woodstock, Conn.) finished in tenth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.73 seconds.
- Jacquelyn Schneider (Weymouth, Mass.) added another five points to the women's team score with her fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:05.06. Haley Boisvert (Merrimack, N.H.) was one place behind Schneider with a time of 1:06.28, collecting four more points.
- A fourth-place finish by Moly Winship (Boxford, Mass.) in the 800-meter run added yet another five points to the women's score, completing the race in 2:31.16.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Luke Elson (Ashaway, R.I.) started the men off with five points in the 400-meter dash with a fourth-place finish with a time of 54.03 seconds. He also finished in ninth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.81 seconds.
- In the longer races, Joseph Reed (Rehoboth, Mass.) finished in fifth place with a time of 1:33.04, adding four points to the men's squad. Kyle Hajj (Methuen, Mass.) also contributed in the 800-meter run with a third-place finish, compiling six more points.
- Freshman Griffin Bean (Cape Neddick, Maine) had the best meet of his year with a tenth-place finish in the 400-meter dash (58.25), a fifth-place finish in the pole vault (3.40 meters), and a fifth-place finish in the triple jump (11.86 meters).
