Bio

Ron Laham is Emmanuel's Head Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Director. He joined the Emmanuel staff in 2007, bringing a wealth of experience to his position.

Prior to his employment at Emmanuel, Laham worked for 14 years at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst as both an Assistant Athletic Trainer and as an Athletic Training Instructor. While providing athletic training and rehabilitation for UMass' 29 athletic teams, Laham was the primary ATC for the men's basketball and baseball teams. From 2003-2006, he served as the Coordinator of Rehabilitation for the sports medicine department at UMass-Amherst. In earlier years, Laham worked at the NCAA Division III level as the Head Athletic Trainer at SUNY Plattsburgh.

Laham received his undergraduate degree from Northeastern University in 1989. He also holds a Master's Degree from the University of Virginia, which he received in 1991. Laham was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference's Athletic Trainer of the Year in the summer of 2010.

In addition to his role at Emmanuel, Laham is currently an adjunct professor at Lasell College, where he teaches courses within Lasell's Athletic Training and Exercise Science majors. He resides in Brighton, Massachusetts.
