Fabrice Devaris Named Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with NCAA Grant Position
BOSTON – Friday afternoon, Emmanuel College Director of Athletics, Olivia Berry, announced that Fabrice Devaris has been named Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Program Coordinator, effective August 14. Devaris was hired in conjunction with the NCAA Diversity Coaching Enhancement Grant, which funds a new, full-time assistant for the department during a two-year commitment.

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) named its 2022-23 Academic All-Conference Team on Thursday (June 15) afternoon. The list includes a 1,361 student-athletes, which sets a new league-high.

Class of 2023 Emmanuel College Athletics Senior Awards Announced
BOSTON - On Monday, May 9, 2023, the Emmanuel College Department of Athletics held its annual Senior Awards Banquet, honoring members of the Class of 2023 for their accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and within the community. This year, a total of 21 awards were presented as 18 student-athletes and three Emmanuel staff members were recognized by the department.

Olivia Berry Elevated to Director of Athletics at Emmanuel College
BOSTON, Mass. - Following a five-month national search, Emmanuel College has announced the appointment of Olivia Berry as Director of Athletics. Berry, who has served as the College's Assistant Director of Athletics and as Head Coach of the Women's Softball team, becomes the sixth head of Saints athletics.

Mroz & Fortin Named Co-Faculty Athletics Representatives (FAR)
BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Athletic Department is excited to name Dr. Kathleen Mroz and Dr. Jeffrey Fortin as Co-Faculty Athletics Representatives (FAR), as announced earlier this month by Interim Athletic Director Marc Taney. Mroz and Fortin fill this role in collaboration with the NCAA and will begin working immediately in partnership with EC Athletics to enhance the student-athlete experience in the classroom, community and team settings.

McWilliams Announces Resignation Following 12 Years in Emmanuel Athletics
BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College Director of Athletics and Recreation Brendan McWilliams has announced his resignation from his position, effective Friday, September 2, 2022. McWilliams has served as an integral member of the Athletic Department since his arrival at the College in 2010 as the Men’s Lacrosse program’s inaugural Head Coach.

Saints Land 110 Student-Athletes on 2021-22 GNAC Academic All-Conference Squad
WINTHROP, Mass. – A league-record 1,274 Great Northeast Athletic Conference student-athletes have been selected to the 2021-22 GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, it was announced on Tuesday morning by the league office. Emmanuel landed 110 on the list, marking the highest count for the EC athletic program.
