SAINTS EARN FOUR SPOTS ON GNAC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

BOSTON, Mass. - After a stellar season and a run to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship game, the Emmanuel College women's soccer team had four players named to GNAC All-Conference teams on Monday. Ari Cardillo (Richmond, Mass.) and Maggie Carey (Swampscott, Mass.) landed on the First Team, while Katelyn Fink (Sanford, Maine), and Tori LaRoche (Hudson, N.H.) received Second Team honors.

WOMEN'S SOCCER COMES UP SHORT IN GNAC CHAMPIONSHIP; LASELL TAKES CROWN IN PK SHOOTOUT

NEWTON, Mass. - For the sixth consecutive season, the Lasell College women’s soccer team claimed the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) crown on Saturday afternoon in penalty kicks against the visiting Saints of Emmanuel College. WOMEN'S SOCCER READY FOR REVENGE IN GNAC CHAMPIONSHIP

BOSTON, Mass. - Junior captain Maggie Carey's (Swampscott, Mass.) overtime goal at Johnson & Wales on Tuesday night sent the Emmanuel College women's soccer team to its second consecutive Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship game. The Saints will square off with Lasell on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in a rematch of last year's title game, which the Lasers won 6-1.

SAINTS ADVANCE TO GNAC CHAMPIONSHIP; CAREY NETS OT GAME-WINNER IN 1-0 WIN OVER JWU

PROVIDENCE, RI – Junior midfielder Maggie Carey (Swampscott, Mass.) buried a shot from 15 yards out in 97th minute of play to give the third-seeded Emmanuel College women's soccer team a 1-0 overtime victory over the second-seeded Johnson & Wales University Wildcats in Tuesday evening's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) semifinal match.

BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College women’s soccer team began its playoff run this past weekend. The game was a nail biter, as both Albertus Magnus and Emmanuel struggled to put the ball in net. Regulation finished 0-0 and both over times ended the same way.

LAROCHE, SAINTS DEFEAT FALCONS IN PKS, ADVANCE TO GNAC SEMIS

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College Women's Soccer goalkeeper Tori LaRoche saved two penalty kicks and scored the game-winner in the fifth round of the shootout to lift the Saints to a 0-0 (3-2 PK) victory over Albertus Magnus in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon at Clemente Field.

WOMEN'S SOCCER TO HOST ALBERTUS MAGNUS IN GNAC QUARTERFINALS

BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College women's soccer team will host Albertus Magnus College in the 2015 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinals this Saturday, October 31, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The Saints are the No. 3 seed in the eight-team field as they work towards the program's first GNAC championship since 2007.

MARCELLO MONDAY: CAPTAIN CARDILLO

BOSTON, Mass. - The Saints finished off their regular season this past weekend with a 0-0 tie against St. Joseph’s of Connecticut. Although the game was getting physically intense towards the end, the Saints tied with grace and class, following role model and senior captain, Ari Cardillo.

LaROCHE HONORED AGAIN AS GNAC GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College sophomore goalkeeper Victoria LaRoche has been named the Corvias Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week, it was announced today by the conference office. This marks the second time this season she’s been tabbed the top keeper in the conference, also earning the honor on Sept. 28.

WOMEN'S SOCCER TIES USJ IN REGULAR-SEASON FINALE, 0-0

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Senior Goalkeeper Melissa Dodge (Watertown, Conn.) made 14 saves to set a new career school record with her 30th shutout, but the Blue Jays were also unable to score as the Blue Jays played to a scoreless overtime tie against Emmanuel Saturday in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference game at USJ.

FINK SINKS MONKS IN 3-0 WOMEN’S SOCCER WIN

BOSTON, Mass. – For the second consecutive game, senior forward Katelyn Fink (Sanford, Maine) scored two goals, lifting the Emmanuel College women’s soccer team past Saint Joseph’s College (ME), 3-0, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action Wednesday evening at Roberto Clemente Field. The Saints improve to 10-8 on the year and 8-2 in GNAC play, locking in a first-round home game in next week GNAC Quarterfinals. The loss drops the Monks to 8-9 on the year and 5-5 in the GNAC.

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College’s Women’s Soccer team defeated Mount Ida College on Saturday, with a final score of 5-0. Carey sisters, Molly and Maggie lead the team with goals and assists. Coaches, Wayne Currie and Keith Rogers were thrilled with the energy that continued throughout the entire game.

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior forward Katelyn Fink (Sanford, Maine) scored two goals to power the Emmanuel College women’s soccer team past Mount Ida College, 5-0, Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Roberto Clemente Field. The win lifts the Saints to 9-8 overall and 7-2 in GNAC play while the Mustangs fall to 2-9-4 and 0-7-2 in the conference.
