Bio

Amy Miklus rejoined the Emmanuel athletic staff in the summer of 2017 as an Assistant Coach for the Saints Women's Volleyball program.  Miklus was also an assistant coach for the 2009 season when they Saints posted 18 wins and advanced to the ECAC tournament.

Miklus received her undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies from Emmanuel in 2007 and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Education from Cambridge College in 2014.

While at Emmanuel, Miklus was a four-year starter for the Saints volleyball team and helped the squad capture GNAC Championships in 2004, 2005 and 2006. She finished her career with 1,038 kills to rank third all-time and was named to the GNAC All-Conference team all four seasons, earning GNAC Rookie of the Year and Third Team honors in 2003, Second Team honors in 2004 and 2005, before rounding our her career with GNAC First Team honors during her senior campaign in 2006.

Miklus has served as a Volleyball Coach for SMASH volleyball since 2015, organizing practices for players ranging in ages from K-12.

Coach Miklus is currently employed full-time by The Home for Little Wanderers as an Intensive Care Coordinator and resides in Watertown, Mass.
