The Saints have a 29-match schedule made up of 12 GNAC contests and 17 non-league games including tilts against regional powerhouses such as MIT and UMass Boston.
Head Coach Denitra Seal's squad will kick off their season on Friday August 30, when they travel to Danbury, Conn. to take on Western Connecticut State University at 6:00 PM as part of the 2019 WCSU Invitational.
EC opens Great Northeast Athletic Conference play on Friday, September 27 against defending GNAC champion Johnson & Wales University on the Anna Maria College campus at 5:00 PM. The Wildcats enter the year ranked 8th nationally in the 2019 Preseason AVCA poll and first in the GNAC poll.
Emmanuel welcomes a large new class of incoming student-athletes, boasting one of the largest rosters in program history. The squad graduated four starters from last season and will call upon its youth to pave the way for the upcoming season and beyond.
"With a young squad, we're going to look to get better every single day" said Seals. "I'm excited to see who can step up and become the next impact player for our program. The talent and potential are there, it's exciting to think about the things this squad can achieve."
The Saints were tabbed to finish seventh in the 2019 GNAC Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll, receiving 85 total points.
