Season
Seals Steps Down After 18 Years With EC Women's Volleyball

BOSTON, Mass. – Following 18 years of coaching the Emmanuel College Women’s Volleyball program, Head Coach Denitra Seals has announced her decision to step down from the position. Seals notified the Athletic Department and Emmanuel College administration of her resignation on Tuesday, June 30 and will also relinquish her administrative role in the department as Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).

Women's Volleyball Ends 2019 Season on High Note, Tops Albertus Magnus, 3-0

NASHUA, N.H. – The Emmanuel College women's volleyball team wrapped up the 2019 campaign with a tri-match split at Rivier University, falling to the host Raiders, 3-0, before ending the season on a high note with a 3-0 victory over Albertus Magnus College. The wins round out the Raiders 2019 regular season with a 22-7 record, 10-2 mark against the conference and the overall #3 seeding in the upcoming conference tournament next week. The Falcons of Albertus Magnus drop to 9-21 overall and 2-10 in the GNAC while the Saints of Emmanuel College slide to 9-21 overall, 3-9 GNAC.

BOSTON, Mass. - Senior outside hitter Nicole Silverman (Chelmsford, Mass.) collected a season-high 19 kills to go along with 13 digs to power the UMass Dartmouth women’s volleyball squad over host Emmanuel College, 3-1 (25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 25-17), in non-conference action at the Andy Yosinoff Court.

Sharks Sink Saints in Women's Volleyball Action, 3-0

BOSTON, Mass. – Junior setter Faith Gray-Williams (Las Vegas, Nev.) set for 33 assists and classmate Morgan Weeg (Goodyear, Ariz.) put down a match-high 12 kills to lead the Simmons University women’s volleyball team over visiting Emmanuel College (Mass.), 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-17), this afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Moore Gymnasium in Boston, Mass. The Sharks have won six of their least eight and improve to 15-7 overall, including 9-1 in league play, while the Saints fall to 6-16 and 2-6.

Saints Split Home GNAC Trimatch

The Emmanuel College women’s volleyball team welcomed the University of Saint Joseph’s Blue Jays and Saint Joseph’s College of Maine Monks on Saturday, October 12th for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference tri-match. The Monks improved to 4 – 2 in conference with a win over both USJ and EC, while the Saints collected a win over the Blue Jays in the first match of the day, improving to 2 – 5 in GNAC play.

MIT Slides Past Women's Volleyball, 3-0

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - An efficient hitting performance, which improved throughout the match, helped the MIT women's volleyball team defeat Emmanuel College, 25-17, 25-10, 25-7, in non-conference action on Thursday night. The Engineers generated a .540 hitting percentage, including a .643 performance in the third set.
