Bio

Catherine "Cat" Davis returns to the Emmanuel athletic staff after earning her Bachelors of Arts in education with a licensure in elementary education from Emmanuel College in May of 2016. 

Davis was a member of the 2021 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Coaching Staff of the Year in which the program captured its first GNAC Championship and NCAA tournament berth. 

As a Saint, Davis was a four-year starter at the shortstop position and captained the squad her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Davis collected 207 hits, 136 run, 15 homeruns and finished her career with a .624 slugging percentage. During her tenure, Davis helped move the Saints into contention for the GNAC Championship in 2016. Along with her on the field play, Davis was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and worked as an Admissions Ambassador. 

Davis currently works in the Boston Public School system as a special education teacher and resides in Boston, Mass.
