WOMEN’S SOCCER MEMBERS RUN DREAM BIG! CLINIC FOR INNER-CITY YOUTHS

BOSTON, Mass. – On Thursday, April 20, members from the Emmanuel College women’s soccer team ran a soccer clinic for inner-city youths sponsored by the Dream Big! organization at Madison Park Vocational Technical High School.

CAREY CAPS CAREER WITH GNAC ALL-CONFERENCE ACCOLADE

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior midfielder Maggie Carey (Swampscott, Mass.) has been named to the 2016 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer All-Conference team, it was announced by the conference office Monday morning. Carey earns All-Conference honors for the third consecutive season, earning Second Team honors for the 2016 campaign after posting First Team honors in 2015 and Second Team status in 2014.

WOMEN’S SOCCER HEADS TO ALBERTUS MAGNUS FOR GNAC QUATERFINAL REMATCH

BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College women's soccer team heads to New Haven, Conn. to take on Albertus Magnus College in the 2016 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinals this Sunday, October 30 with kickoff slotted for 1:00 PM. The Saints earn the No. 6 seed in the eight-team field while the Falcons boast the No. 3 seed.

WOMEN'S SOCCER EARNS SENIOR DAY SHUTOUT

BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College Women's Soccer team celebrated Senior Day with a 6-0 win over Anna Maria College at Roberto Clemente Field on Saturday afternoon. The win marked the Saints' seventh shutout of the season, boosting their record to 7-7-1 overall and 4-2-1 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action. Anna Maria fell to 2-10 on the season and 1-6 in GNAC play with the loss.

The Saints improve to 6-7-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the GNAC while the Raiders fall to 3-5-2 and 2-4 in conference play.

New Haven, Conn. – The Emmanuel College women's soccer team topped host Albertus Magnus College, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Celentano Field. The Falcons (4-6-1, 2-2-1) dropped their second straight league game, while the Saints (5-7-1, 2-2-1) snapped a three-game conference winless streak with the shutout victory.

PROVIDENCE, RI– Close women’s soccer matches are becoming a thing between Johnson & Wales University and Emmanuel College. Ninety minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of overtime were not enough to declare a winner as the two teams played to a 1-1 tie on Saturday.
