LaToya Thomas joined the Emmanuel Women's Basketball coaching staff in the summer of 2010 as an Assistant Coach. Since 2006 Thomas has been coaching basketball and was most recently the Head Coach for the North Shore Bobacats a 16 and under AAU Team. Before working with the Bobcats, Thomas was an Assistant Coach at Stonehill College in Easton, Mass. Thomas also worked as an Assistant Coach at GNAC rival, Suffolk University, in 2006. While with the Rams, Thomas helped strategize against opposing offenses and defenses to get the Rams game-day ready.

Thomas did her undergraduate work at Bentley University, majoring in English. As a player, Thomas was a four-year player at Bentley and was the team's co-captain during her senior year. That same season, Thomas received the "Coaches' Award" and was named the team's Most Improved Player. In her time at Bentley, the Falcons made a final four appearance and were North East 10 regular season champions on two times.

A native of Massachusetts, LaToya currently lives in Taunton.
