Kokoros Named GNAC Defensive Player of the Week

Kokoros lifted EC to a 3-0 week averaging a team-best 3.80 kills per set over three matches. The junior finished the week with 19 kills while also averaging 2.00 digs and 1.20 aces per set. Korokos scored 25.0 points in the three contests, hitting at a .244 clip.
This season, the Braintree native is averaging 2.53 kills per set to lead the Saints while ranking ninth overall in the GNAC. He's also averaging 1.49 digs per set and has totaled 15 blocks to go along with seven service aces.
Throughout his career, the outside hitter has been a solid presence with 395 kills, 284 digs and 50 total blocks.
The Saints are currently 8-9 on the year and return to action this Friday, March 13 when they travel to Johnson & Wales University for the Wildcat Invitational, taking on York and North Park at 4:00 and 6:00 PM.
